Founder of Renew Hope Counseling
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience.

Feeling hopeless, on the verge of emotional overwhelm, and in conflict can be draining. The constant worry and stress can strain your relationships with your partner and family.

With clear options for change, it's easier to see beyond the present moment, especially when the present moment is really challenging.

The good news — life is full of options.  Change and growth are not only possible but integral to our human experience. No matter where you are in your life's journey, I want you to know that you're never so broken that you can't heal. Having a meaningful and fulfilling life and relationship can be right around the corner.

My mission is to guide and support you in your emotional and relational healing journey. Let's work together to achieve your goals and find the happiness and healing you deserve.

This is your opportunity to rekindle the spark in your relationship or in yourself.

How my Journey Began

I entered this field because I believe humans have the capacity to heal and reach the fulfilling life they desire.  Everyone is unique, and I enjoy helping those looking for new tools, ideas, support, or just a listening ear.

No one is immune to the challenges of life, and my life experience in a career, raising a family with my spouse, and understanding the dynamics of what that life brings helps me be a better therapist.

I have a long history of helping people and giving couples a chance to get back to a connected, loving place.  I am always learning and growing myself, and I put a lot of priority on keeping my skills sharp and regularly taking advanced training to keep on the cutting edge of what can truly help others heal hearts and minds.

I value growth and learning to help anyone who may need a helping hand when life or relationships get difficult.

It would be an honor to work with you.

My Approach

The work we will do together allows you to safely explore your challenges, stress, anxiety, and deepest worries about your relationship or yourself.

My counseling experience is evidenced-based and person-centered. I provide an environment where individuals feel accepted, respected, and understood without fear of being criticized, condemned, or judged.

Counseling sessions can be for both couples or adults individually.

Having worked with hundreds of couples, I developed a Couples Therapy Intensive for those who want to jumpstart their relationship healing.

How fulfilling your relationship is depends on how you and your partner adapt and move together to become a team. And once you’re both committed to making the relationship secure, Tatkin says, “you free up your resources to be successful in your careers, in life, and everywhere else. That’s how you really soar. All you need is someone who’s game.”
